Who We Are
We believe if companies are taking reasonable steps to protect private information, this reasonable and provable effort should protect against Tort claims and serve as an affirmative defense.
Three states are currently providing organizations a safe harbor if they select and implement a recognized cyber security standard. We think this should be the same in all 50 states and at the federal level.
Our Goals
Our goal is to establish a grassroots presence in each state before a broader push to change federal legislation. We are looking for multiple representatives in each state and funding to build an entity and framework for this effort.
